From access to measurable evidence

SVA is building from Tanzania toward a broader African health-education ecosystem. The immediate objective is not to claim scale; it is to prove a useful, equitable, repeatable model with real learners, educators and institutions.

Health education

Improve access to relevant, structured learning for future health professionals.

Equity

Measure who can participate, who benefits, and where digital barriers remain.

Evidence

Evaluate learning and implementation outcomes instead of treating activity metrics as impact.

Impact thesis

Problem → intervention → measurement → scale decision

The strongest SVA proposition is a Tanzania-first pilot that tests whether locally relevant digital learning and defined AI-assisted educational support can improve measurable learning outcomes while remaining accessible, useful to educators, and responsibly governed.

What we measure
Learning

Pre-defined knowledge or competency outcomes using an appropriate assessment.

Access

Devices, connectivity and other barriers that shape participation.

Adoption

Learner engagement and educator workflow fit.

Equity

Differences in participation and outcomes across pre-defined groups.

Responsible AI

AI literacy, verification practice and academic-integrity signals.

Quality

Content usefulness, reliability and curriculum relevance.

Safety

Privacy, data-governance, integrity and other reported incidents.

Efficiency

Cost and resource use where the evaluation design supports a defensible estimate.

Potential funding alignment

These are strategic-fit references, not claims that SVA has been selected, endorsed, funded, or invited to apply.

Funding architecture
01
Validation
Co-design the problem and establish a real pilot setting.
02
Pilot
Run a defined intervention with governance and measured outcomes.
03
Evidence
Analyse results, publish responsibly and document the implementation model.
04
Scale decision
Expand only when evidence, cost, safety and institutional readiness justify it.
For funders

The evidence-first ask

The initial request should finance validation, institutional implementation, access support, evaluation, governance and dissemination. It should not be framed as a request to fund “continental scale” before the model is proven.

For partners

Bring a real setting

The most valuable next partnership is a school, college, university, health or research institution willing to define a concrete problem, support responsible implementation, and help evaluate what actually changes.

SVA does not present inquiries, pilots under discussion, funding conversations, or projected outcomes as completed partnerships, grants, research approvals, measured impact, accreditation, or institutional endorsement.
